The theme for International Women’s Day 2018 is “Time is Now - Rural and Urban activists transforming women’s Lives.”

International Women’s Day is a time to reflect on the progress made, to call for change and to celebrate acts of courage and determination by ordinary women who have played an extraordinary role in the history of our communities and countries.

Namaste! - “The divine in me salutes the divine in you.”

“Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift” – 2 Corinthians, 9:15
Namaste! - “The divine in me salutes the divine in you.”

Fellow Lions and Leos; As we celebrate the gift of Christmas, which commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ; let us also recognise that Christmas is a time for quiet reflection, a time for forgiveness and reconciliation. It is the time when we are reminded that Jesus came into this world to bring hope, spread peace on earth and goodwill to all mankind. It is also that time of the year, when our friends and family will visit and when we, as Lions and Leos, demonstrate a spirit of togetherness, love and fellowship in our communities.

29th MD Mid-Year Conference

We are approximately two (2) months away from hosting the 29th MD Mid-Year Conference in Saint Lucia.

As of this date registration and hotel bookings are at a slow pace. The Planning Committee is encouraging Lions and Leos who are planning on attending the Conference to book their hotel room ASAP. Hotel reservations are open booking/first come first serve basis. Lions please remember that from October the Winter season which is referred to as peak season is open and hotel occupancy are usually at its maximum. So we are therefore encouraging Lions and Leos to make that extra effort to book your hotel rooms at the soonest. The Planning Committee cannot guarantee that we will get other hotels that will be available during that period.
